WHO IS THIS FOR? The Advanced Barista course is designed for baristas who are already confident behind the machine and want to operate at a true specialty-coffee level. You will have completed the Intermediate Course or have the equivalent skills and knowledge.
This hands-on session focuses on precision, decision-making, and control, teaching you how to work with single origin coffees and refine espresso flavour. You’ll explore advanced dialling techniques, learn to read extraction more deeply, and understand exactly how dose, yield, and ratio affect flavour.
Beyond technical skill, this course also sharpens your professional presence on the bar. You’ll learn how to confidently sell coffee to customers, ask the right questions, use correct terminology, and communicate flavour in a way that builds trust and elevates the customer experience.
