Where do I buy premium coffee beans?
Truth be told there is far more poor quality out there then great coffee. The reason behind that is until recently cafe’s and roasters thought people didn’t care. Customers would dump milk on top of the coffee and sugar and the next comparable product was instant coffee! Though, thankfully this is not the case now. Some intelligent client’s often ask….’When were these beans roasted?’ Or….’Where are these beans from?’ If the barista didn’t know or couldn’t find out then the client will most likely go elsewhere. We are growing more and more aware of hat great coffee is and a lot of the time it doesn’t need milk or sugar!
Premium coffee beans are essentially very quality green coffee beans brought in from around the world and roasted within a very short timeframe. These beans have been nurtured and cared for while they grew and were dried and processed using great attention to detail. These green beans are then roasted individually by origins and packed and dispatched within a day or two from roast date.
This might all seem quite complicated and overwhelming, though as a customer, you only need to remember a few things. Firstly, check the roast date of the beans. They should have been roasted a few days or a week at most, just before it arrives at your home. Secondly, you want to know a bit about the origins and the story behind where these beans from. If they have this in detail, then it is a good chance that the roaster has a connection with the source, the farmers and the community that grew the beans and can affect them in a positive way.
