We train across two Sydney locations:

DO I NEED ANY BARISTA EXPERIENCE?

No prior experience is needed for our beginner courses. Some of our advanced sessions recommend prior experience — check the individual course page for details.

IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE IF I WANT TO WORK IN A CAFÉ?

It depends on the course. Our Foundations courses build core café skills in a practical, hands-on setting — great for job-readiness. Our Accredited courses go further, delivering a nationally recognised qualification that employers look for.

IS THIS AN ACCREDITED COURSE?

Not all of our courses are accredited. If you need a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment, check out our Accredited Barista Course. Foundations and specialty courses are non-accredited but include a Black Market Training certificate of completion.

HOW MUCH HANDS-ON PRACTICE WILL I GET?

Plenty. Our courses are designed around doing, not watching. The majority of your time will be spent behind the machine, with guidance from our trainers throughout.

WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL I TRAIN ON?

You'll train on industry-standard commercial espresso machines and grinders — the same equipment used in professional cafés. No home machines here.

CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING DATE?

Yes — contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to move you to another session. See our booking policy for rescheduling windows and any applicable conditions.

WHAT AGE DO I NEED TO BE?

Students aged 14 and over are welcome at all courses. We also run a dedicated 2-Day School Holiday Bootcamp every school holidays.

We get it — life happens. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 2 weeks' notice before your course date and we'll move you to another session.

Requests within 2 weeks of the course date will be assessed case by case. If a replacement participant cannot be found, the original booking will stand.
